안녕하세요. 저는 워버턴 알마티 목장을 섬기고 있는 정광수 목자입니다.

Hi everyone, my name is Kwangsu, and I serve at the Warburton Almaty Mokjang.

저는 목장에서 분가한 지 꽤 되었지만, 최근까지 힘든 시간을 보냈습니다. 목장에는 VIP는 있었지만, 목장에 참여까지는 한계를 느꼈고, 목원들 없이 저희 가족만 있어서 외롭고, 가족끼리 목장을 하는것도 한계를 느껴서 때로는 목장을 왜 해야 하는지에 대한 고민도 많았고, 제대로 목장을 하지 못한 날은 불편한 마음을 느꼈었습니다. 우리목장만 혼자라고 느껴질 때도 많았고, 우리가 많이 부족해서 우리끼리만 목장을 하는구나라는 생각들로 인해 저와 아내는 마음이 무거워지기도 했습니다.

I started my Mokjang quite some time ago, but until recently, it’s been a tough journey. With VIPs, it’s been difficult to get them to come to Mokjang. It was just my family, which felt a bit lonely and made me wonder if we were doing the right thing. Sometimes, I even questioned why we were continuing. On the days we couldn’t hold Mokjang properly, I felt uneasy. Often, I felt like we were the only ones struggling, and those thoughts were challenging for our family

그러던 어느날 다른 목장의 목자님께서 연합 목장을 제안을 해주셨는데, 감사함 안에 걱정이 앞섰었습니다. 그 이유는 저희 막내가 아직 많이 어려서 서로의 집까지의 거리가 부담스러웠기 때문입니다. 그래서 막상 쉽게 결정을 내리지 못했었습니다. 하지만 이 사정을 아신 목사님과 사모님께서 저희집에서 다른목장과의 연합목장을 제안해주셔서 하나님의 인도하심을 믿고 기대하며 연합 목장을 시작 하기로 했습니다.

One day, another Mokja suggested that we join our Mokjangs together. While we were grateful for the idea, we were also worried because our youngest child was still very young, and the distance between our homes seemed too far. We couldn’t easily decide. But then, Pastor Min, understanding our situation, suggested hosting the united Mokjang at our house. Trusting in God’s guidance, we decided to go for it.

시간이 지날수록 연합 목장이 저에게 큰 위로와 힘이 되었습니다. 함께 모여 기도제목을 나누고, 기도하며, 서로의 이야기를 나누는 시간을 통해 저희 가정은 연합목장 안에서 공동체의 힘을 하나님께서 다시한번 깨달게 해주 셨습니다.

목장에 대하여 갈팡질팡 하며 힘든시기에 연합 목장을 통하여 하나님께서 저희를 조금씩 회복해주셔서 다시 목자, 목녀의 삶으로 인도하여 주셨습니다. 목장 안에서의 공동체는 우리들의 고민과 힘듦을 들어주고, 기도로 힘을 주며, 실질적인 조언과 도움을 아끼지 않는 곳인거 같습니다. 하나님께서 전도서 4장 9절에서 말씀하신 것처럼, "혼자보다는 둘이 더 낫다. 두 사람이 함께 일할 때에, 더 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있기 때문입니다"이라는 말씀을 연합목장을 통하여 다시 한번 공동체의 중요성을 깨달고 경험하게 해주셨습니다. 공동체는 서로 아껴주고 사랑이라는 베이스에 지지와 격려로 인해 우리는 함께 성장할 수 있고, 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 사명을 깨달고, 더욱 충실히 감당할수 있게 해주는거 같습니다.

In our Mokjang community, our worries and difficulties were met with understanding, and we were uplifted through the power of prayer and God’s love. As Ecclesiastes 4:9 says, "Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor," I truly came to understand this truth. Our community showed how mutual support and encouragement in love help us grow together. It also deepened our understanding of God’s mission for us and inspired us to pursue it with greater dedication.

이러한 경험을 통해 저는 목장 공동체의 중요성과 하나님의 인도하심을 하나님께서 다시 한 번 보게하셨습니다. 그리고 하나님께서 우리를 외롭게 혼자 두지 않으시고, 언제나 우리를 위해 준비된 공동체들을 보내주신다는 사실을 믿게 되었습니다.

저희 가정은 이제 더 이상 혼자가 아님을 느낍니다. 하나님께서 저희 목장에도 vip들이 참여하고 그 VIP들이 목원으로 함께할수 있는 날을 인도해주시리라 기대하며 저희 목장은 항상 기도하며 한걸음 한걸음 나아가길 소망합니다 . 사랑하는 방주교회 성도 여러분 하나님의 말씀을 따라 서로를 일으켜 세우고, 사랑으로 섬기며, 공동체 안에서 함께 성장해 나가기를 소망합니다.

Through this experience, God once again showed me the importance of the Mokjang community and His guidance. I believe that God does not leave us lonely and alone but always provides us with supportive communities. Our family now feels that we are no longer alone. We hope and pray that God will lead VIPs to join our Mokjang and that they will become part of our community. We pray and take one step at a time

기도도 하고 마치겠습니다

Let us pray. Heavenly Father, thank You for allowing me to share my testimony today. I am grateful for Your guidance throughout my journey with our Mokjang. Lord, may the words I have shared reflect Your wisdom and love. I pray that You continue to strengthen our community and bring comfort and support to those in need. As we move forward, may we always feel Your presence and embrace the unity and purpose You have provided. We trust in Your plan and look forward to the blessings You have in store for us. I offer this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.
